Compressing pictures/photos before sending to our friends is not necessary (because of large email storage and high speed broadband these days), but still a good way to show that you're considerate.

Here's a method so simple that anyone could do it. (Senior friendly)

I've seen a lot of Photoshop effects but this one is really amazing. With this simple tool anyone can create old looking (century old perhaps) photos in a few seconds :)

In the old days we need to use Photoshop and the like to remove objects. However the price of the software as well as the learning curve is a bit overkill for a simple task like this.

Here's a Free tool that allows you to remove any object just by highlighting it, magic? You bet. Note that this technology was introduced only recently in Adobe Photoshop CS5, not sure if the algorithm works differently but you'll get almost similar results using this Free tool :)

Normally you just use the Print Screen key to capture your screen, but what if you wanted to capture a whole document/webpage that needs scrolling?

The 5 most common image formats used are JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG, and TIFF. I'll try to explain in simplest terms, their most noticeable difference and purposes they serve.

Normally if you enlarge a picture by just zooming it, the quality will be pretty bad.. unless you use special software like this one.

You can use this method to convert small pictures into your desktop wallpaper for example :)
