The Simplest Way To Turn Your iPhone Into A Measuring Tape

Turn your iPhone into a true measuring tape by using a credit card (or any cards with the same size) as a reference.

This is how it works:

1. Put a credit card just beside the item you want to measure.
2. Take a Photo with your iPhone.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to align the credit card with the reference card in the app.
4. Start measuring anything by dragging your finger!

The Lite (or Free) version only allows measurement up to 1.5 feet. You'll need to purchase the full version which costs $3.99 (at the time of writing) to be able to measure up to 12 feet. The free version is useful nonetheless.
