This website I'm going to introduce is a Reverse Image Search Engine. It searches an image not by conventional keywords, but using an image itself.
Submit an image to find out..
- Where it came from (the original picture)
- High resolution version of the picture (for your desktop wallpaper?)
- Altered version of the image (such as ones that are photoshopped/edited/cropped)
- Whoever edited and used an image created by yourself
It doesn't find similar images (such as ones with same object) but rather images with the same or partial 'image fingerprint'.
After you found the images online, you can even click on the 'compare' button and they will compare the images side by side. For example, I submitted one of my edited pictures and this is what I get..
Cool right? The website found the original camcorder picture that I used to create the final image :)
Here's another example, I submitted the original ring image, and it found an altered version on the net.
